Since its founding in 2021, Osprey Law, P.C. has become one of the leading law firms exclusively representing employees in northern San Diego. Many of our clients are local and have worked in industries such as biotech, hospitality, defense contracting, amusement park maintenance and entertainment, nursing facilities, and other prevalent businesses in San Diego. However, in addition to our local successes, we represent clients from all over California - from Marin to Orange County. Our vision since the beginning has always been to give workers a fighting chance against their powerful employers.

            Before founding Osprey Law, P.C., Chris Jevsevar worked for “the other side” by exclusively representing corporations and insurance companies in employment-related disputes. Over the years of being behind the curtain working for employers, two undeniable patterns emerged. First, employers mistreated their employees. This mistreatment took many forms, whether it be discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or other more subtle acts like installing policies that promote wage theft. Second, mistreated employees often did not retain a competent attorney to protect their interests. The result was employers settling claims for pennies on the dollar or avoiding consequences altogether. Ultimately, Chris decided to leave behind representing corporations and insurance companies to focus on serving the interests of employees.

        Chris teamed up with his partner and wife, Kate, with the simple goal of providing the best legal representation to employees throughout Southern California. Together, they founded Osprey Law, P.C. in 2021 and have dedicated themselves to working tirelessly for their clients’ rights ever since.
